Fashion Event Dotek is a non-profit project of students of Faculty of Multimedia Communications of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, which aims to connect fashion with a good cause. In March 2026, the 14th year will take place, revealing the theme Fragments, which will remind us that perfection and beauty are not only in the whole, but in the individual parts of stories.

During the year, we try to spread awareness and education about the importance of breast and testicular cancer prevention through educational lectures and support of the organization Aliance žen s rakovinou prsu, o.p.s. The auctioned amount from the benefit auction goes to the operation of the aforementioned organization, which provides support to women struggling with the insidious disease. The total amount raised is currently 495,417 CZK.

SHOWROOM silent auction

This year, for the first time, visitors will be presented with a two-day program. On March 20, the showroom will be opened with a silent auction, where visitors will be able to bid on pieces by Czech creators, such as designer Anna Tran, artist Dmitrii Ostretsov, and jewelry store Dick Wolf. You can bid on the silent auction using marked tickets until the start of the Saturday fashion show.

Opening s Harper’s Bazaar

On Friday, there will also be panel discussions under the auspices of Harper’s BAZAAR, hosted by the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Nora Grundová. Visitors can look forward to prominent figures of the Czechoslovak scene such as Zuzana Kubíčková or Lucie Kratochvílová, who will discuss the role of fashion media in their professional work, how they influence them and how, on the contrary, they contribute to building their own identity as a brand. The evening will end with a musical set by Slovak DJ Fralaa.

Professional workshops

As part of the March event, professional workshops with personalities from the fashion and design industry are held, offering visitors the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills in selected sectors. In the fourteenth year, our invitation was accepted by Anežka Horová, Otec Mirec and, last but not least, Andrea Jandová.

Fashion show

The project provides a space for young designers from all over Europe to present their collections to the general public, professionals and journalists. Designers are selected by an expert jury, consisting of experienced experts from fashion practice and the media, within the framework of the Open Call. This year, 10 collections from a total of twelve designers will be presented on the catwalk.

Charity auction

The gala evening includes a charity auction of a special fashion collection and designer items, the proceeds of which go to the non-profit organization Aliance žen s rakovinou prsu o.p.s., which covers a total of 40 patient organizations. In 2025, we managed to raise a record 161,708 CZK for the non-profit organization.

Afterparty

The afterparty is an essential part of the gala evening, where the program continues with musical sets and a lively atmosphere. This year, visitors can look forward to names such as Brook from No Sleep Club, Otec Mirec from RudeBoys Radio, Kaa Glo and New Magic Media, who will bring a mix of electronic music and original remixes.
